ABOUT OUR COMPANY !

South Meath Social Economy Ltd. (SMSE) provides a household maintenance/repair/cleaning and gardening service to the over 60s and people with disabilities in Co. Meath.

SMSE was started in June 2002 with 4 employees and now has a staff of 14. All employees have a wide range of building skills and trained in Health & Safety, Safe Pass, Manual Handling etc.

For its employees SMSE provides stability, future employment, personal development and a sense of purpose.

Services for the Elderly is partly funded by Pobal through the Department of Social Protection.

A Board of Directors made up of local volunteers direct and support the manager in the expansion and development of the service

We work closley with Active Retirement Groups, Friendship Clubs, Vincent de Paul, Meath County Council, HSE, Citizens Information and Local Community Groups
